The Cybelec team, along with retrofit partners from around the world, unveiled a robotic solution designed for both new and old press brakes—and even for retrofitting older machines while retaining the original controller and robot arm.
Once a bending operator learns to use a Cybelec controller (the most user-friendly on the market), they can be trained to operate the robot in just few hours. The robot is programmed directly through the “VisiTouch” press brake controller, enabling a medium-skilled operator to create a robot program in just a few minutes. This efficiency makes the technology viable even for small production runs. For the first time in history, this technology is accessible to small workshops, offering the flexibility to operate a press brake either manually or via robotic automation.
